Important Delivery Information 

Whilst we are doing all we can to meet our normal delivery lead-times, due to the current unprecedented circumstances, there may be unavoidable exceptions. Please note: Couriers are currently experiencing delays to their services due to significant increase in volume and reduced staff levels. We’d like to ask all customers to be understanding that they may be some delays with deliveries during these unprecedented times. We’re all doing our best to keep things moving and will do everything we can to help ensure you get the products you need as soon as possible

We ship most of our goods with Tuffnells who we find to be excellent in 99.9% of the time. Please note Tuffnells deliver anytime between 8am and 6pm and if you are not in at the time of delivery they will try to redeliver up to two times after which the goods will be sent back to us.
Placing an order before 1.30 pm on a working day generally means you will receive the goods on the next working day (Please note, this is not a guaranteed service and on the odd occasion can take up to two working days). If you fail to receive them in this time you MUST advise us.

We would suggest you do not book any installation work until you have received goods as occasionally the couriers can experience problems or delays trying to make delivery.

Delivery is to the nearest roadside point to the delivery address accessible by our couriers and does not include delivery into the building or site. Ease of access to the delivery address is the receivers responsibility and any special requirements must be agreed at the time of order.
We do try to help wherever we can and if you find any difficulties please contact us.

Please check your goods on receipt. If they arrive damaged please sign for them as damaged.

The shipping costs shown on our site are for shipment within mainland UK. For shipping to the Highlands and Islands or Ireland please contact us.

Delivery

In normal circumstances we commit to despatch your order within 1 working day of order receipt.

Most England, Wales and Central Scotland orders are delivered within 24 hours of despatch but in some circumstances may take up to 72 hours.
Orders for the Scottish Highlands, Islands, Hebrides, Isle of Man, Channel and Scilly Isles and Northern Ireland will take between 3-5 days depending upon location.

Delivery Address

You can choose to have your goods delivered to an address which is different from the billing address when prompted during the checkout process.
If the address you have provided is incorrect, the order is usually returned to us by the carrier. Please double check your delivery address carefully when placing the order.

Delivery Status and tracking your order

We will send you a confirmation email to tell you when your order has been placed and then a further email with a tracking link when the goods have been despatched. If your order has not been received within the timescale mentioned above please contact us.

Delivery Problems

If the goods you have ordered are damaged, faulty, incomplete or incorrect, let us know within 14 days of receiving your order and we will arrange to have the products collected and replacements sent out free of charge.
The carriers we use require a signature for all parcels. If the carrier is unsuccessful in delivering your order on the first attempt they will leave a card and contact number for you to rearrange the delivery. If the order is not delivered after a period the goods will be returned to us.

Delivery charges (Excl VAT)

A flat rate of £5.00 applies to all orders.

An additional supplement is applied to orders under the the minimum order value shown in the table below:

J B Kind Delivery Service

J B Kind have dedicated a number of delivery vehicles to distribute home delivery orders. This is supported by a text (SMS) service providing notification of scheduled delivery dates and times.

  • On placing your order, you will receive a confirmation of order from ourselves.
  • All delivery messaging will them be handled by J B Kind.
  • You will be given approximately two days’ notice of your delivery day, with the option to reschedule, if necessary.
  • On the day prior to delivery you will receive a three hour delivery slot. Delivery cannot be rescheduled at this stage.
  • On the day of delivery, you will be advised your driver is one hour away and again when the vehicle leaves the previous drop.
  •  J B Kind will keep you informed every step of the way.

Delivery Charges

J B Kind delivery charges are as follows:

  • Standard Delivery (3 – 5 working days) £35 + VAT
  • Express Delivery (1 – 2 working days) £50 + VAT
  • Highland postcodes PO30 – PO41, KW, IV, AB, PH, DD, PA, KY, FK8, FK15 – FK21 (3 – 5 working days) £140 + VAT
  • Island postcodes IM & BT (3 – 5 working days) – POA

All deliveries are scheduled in normal working days (Monday to Friday), excluding Bank Holidays.
