Returns and Refunds Policy

Covid-19:
Whilst we are doing all we can to meet our normal delivery lead-times, Refunds and Returns due to the current unprecedented circumstances, there may be unavoidable exceptions.

Returns
Our policy for sales to consumers lasts 14 days as per the Distance Selling Regulations. Return the goods within 14 days in reasonable condition and unused and we will be happy to refund your purchase.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
The cost of the return to us will be borne by the consumer unless the return is a result of our error (incorrect or defective item) and then we will pay the return shipping charge.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.

Sale Items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. 

Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs for returning your item unless the return is a result of our error (incorrect or defective item) and then we will pay the return shipping charge.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
We would advise you obtain proof of postage. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Returns Policy
In order to receive a refund on returned goods please ensure that:

  1. Goods are returned within 14 working days of receiving them
  2. The goods are returned to us in reasonable condition and unused. If the goods arrived to you damaged please ensure you repackage the goods after inspection securely.
  3. The cost of return to us and the responsibility that the goods are returned in reasonable condition will be borne by the consumer.
  4. You should expect to receive your refund within 14 working days of us receiving your return.

Please note it is not necessary to assemble the product to inspect them or to check the size (as it is clearly labelled on the packaging) so returns which have been assembled will be subject to our claim for breach of statuary duty by the consumer.
We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
If you have a problem with the return transport shipping please let us know and we will endeavour to organise this for you.
We will endeavour to process your refund within 14 working days of us receiving the return, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
Please ensure that if you have opened the packaging that you carefully repack and securely repackage the goods to ensure that they arrive back with us safely. We advise taking a photograph of any repackaged goods in case any damage occurs during the return journey to us.

Coburn

Delivery Problems:
If the goods you have ordered are damaged, faulty, incomplete or incorrect, let us know within 14 days of receiving your order and we will arrange to have the products collected and replacements sent out free of charge.
The carriers we use require a signature for all parcels. If the carrier is unsuccessful in delivering your order on the first attempt they will leave a card and contact number for you to rearrange the delivery. If the order is not delivered after a period the goods will be returned to us.

Returns:

If the goods you have ordered are unsuitable for any reason we will credit you in full provided you return the goods to us in re saleable condition within 30 days of delivery.
A flat rate of £5.00 applies to all orders.
An additional supplement is applied to orders under the the minimum order value shown in the table below:

JB Kind

Please thoroughly check all doors for damage, defect or error within 5 days, the claim will be reviewed outside of this timeframe.

Unwanted doors / doors ordered in error will be returned at the customers cost and should be returned directly to J B Kind within one calendar month. All items must be fully packaged and in resaleable condition or charges may apply.

J B Kind Restocking Charges

  • £40 restocking charge for 5 doors and under
  • £80 restocking charge for over 5 doors
  • £60 J B Kind collection / uplift fee

Scrigno

Scrigno pocket door systems are generally non-returnable. Any goods that are returned must be in re-saleable condition and in the original packaging, and must be returned within 14 days. Some items may be subject to a restocking fee, and specially ordered items cannot be returned. If you have any questions about our return policy, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
